They have won numerous awards over the years within the design and creative industry, with proven expertise in excellent sustainable designs across various sectors.</p><p>Due to continued growth and new projects, they are now looking to hire a talented Accounts Assistant to join the finance department. </p><p><strong>Role</strong></p><p>The Accounts Assistant for this exciting Architecture firm based in the city of London, will work closely with the Senior Accountant and support on a number of accounting & project-based duties within the team. They will take on a various key responsibilities including:</p><ul><li>Maintaining accurate bookkeeping and accountancy records, including sales and purchase ledgers. </li><li>Preparing and issuing monthly invoices.</li><li>Processing the monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.</li><li>Supporting the production of forecasts and budgets as well as cash flow reports.</li><li>Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts/reports.</li><li>Monitoring debtor and creditor lists, ensuring timely payments and follow-ups. </li><li>Organising the payment runs regularly, and setting up payments for approval.</li><li>Dealing with customer queries. </li><li>Supporting wider business and taking on ad-hoc projects.</li></ul><p><strong>Profile</strong></p><p>The ideal profile for this Accounts Assistant position, should have the following attributes:</p><ul><li>Graduate or AAT background.</li><li>1-3 years of experience within a similar Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant capacity.</li><li>Experience in dealing with Accounts Payable & Receivable processes.</li><li>Experience with Sage 50 / Xero would be advantageous.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>Previous experience working within the design, construction or creative environment is advantageous.</li></ul><p><strong>Salary & Benefits</strong></p><p>£30,000 to £35,000 plus benefits including:</p><ul><li>Hybrid working (full-time during probation)</li><li>Private medical</li><li>Pension scheme</li><li>Company socials</li><li>Weekly yoga & more!</li></ul><p>The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
