- <p class="isSelectedEnd">Robert Half Technology are assisting a market leading <strong>investment firm</strong> to recruit a <strong>Junior IT Support Engineer</strong> on a contract basis. <strong>5 days per week on site - Monday to Friday.</strong> <strong>ASAP start.</strong> London based.</p><p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Role</strong></p><ul data-spread="false"><li>Provide high-quality, onsite IT support to staff, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of workstations, meeting spaces, and IT equipment.</li><li>Respond to and resolve issues with docking stations, monitors, keyboards, mice, and other peripherals, including connectivity faults, driver issues, and equipment replacements.</li><li>Carry out desk moves, including disconnecting, relocating, reconnecting, and testing IT equipment to ensure full functionality.</li><li>Perform routine checks of meeting room and conference room AV equipment, including screens, cameras, microphones, and conferencing systems.</li><li>Provide first-line troubleshooting for common laptop and Outlook issues, including performance checks, cache clearing, updates, and basic diagnostics.</li><li>Support new starters with initial laptop setup, Outlook configuration, PowerToys installation, and other standard business applications.</li><li>Support offboarding activities, including factory resets, mobile device wipes, and preparation of equipment for reissue.</li><li>Conduct regular checks of quiet rooms and flexible office spaces to ensure IT equipment is operational and ready for use.</li><li>Maintain accurate IT stock levels within the build room and flag low stock for replenishment.</li><li>Support <strong>VCO account administration</strong>, with full training provided.</li></ul><p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Profile</strong></p><ul data-spread="false"><li>Some previous helpdesk or IT support experience.</li><li>Experience working in high-profile, professional, and <strong>white-glove IT support environments</strong>.</li><li>Financial services, investment, private equity, or professional services experience preferred.</li><li>Strong customer service skills with a clear, friendly, and professional approach when dealing with staff at all levels.</li><li>Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple requests effectively.</li><li>Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing equipment, meeting room setups, and IT stock.</li><li>A proactive and reliable approach to providing high-quality onsite IT support.</li></ul><p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Company</strong></p><ul data-spread="false"><li>Market leading <strong>investment firm</strong> with offices in London.</li><li>Professional, high-profile and white-glove working environment.</li><li><strong>5 days per week on site, Monday to Friday.</strong></li><li><strong>ASAP start.</strong></li></ul><p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Salary & Benefits</strong></p><p>The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
