- <p> </p><p>Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking a CFO for an ambitious SME manufacturing organisation based near Cardiff.</p><p> </p><p>The Chief Financial Officer will provide strategic and operational leadership of the Group's global finance function, ensuring robust financial governance, high-quality reporting, and proactive business partnering across all divisions. This is a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, driving growth, and safeguarding value creation for shareholders, lenders, and stakeholders, while supporting international expansion and property investment activities.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>Group Financial Leadership & Governance</p><ul><li>Lead the Group's financial strategy, governance, and control framework across all businesses and geographies.</li><li>Ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and insightful monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial reporting for the Board, shareholders, and lenders.</li></ul><p>Treasury & Funding</p><ul><li>Lead centralised treasury operations, managing cash, liquidity, and working capital efficiently across multiple common entities in a multicurrency environment.</li><li>Maintain strong banking and lender relationships, ensuring compliance with covenants and securing financing to support growth and M&A.</li></ul><p>Strategic Planning & Business Partnering</p><ul><li>Drive the Group's annual business planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.</li><li>Partner with the CEO, FD, and divisional leaders to provide financial insights that shape business strategy and operational decision-making.</li></ul><p>Taxation & Compliance</p><ul><li>Oversee Group tax strategy, ensuring compliance with UK and international regulations (corporate tax, VAT/GST, transfer pricing, and customs duties).</li></ul><p>Finance Transformation & Process Improvement</p><ul><li>Lead continuous improvement of finance systems, processes, and reporting tools to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and insight. Drive digitalisation and automation initiatives in line with best practice and Group strategy.</li></ul><p>M&A & Corporate Development</p><ul><li>Support the CEO and Board on mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and joint ventures.</li></ul><p>Essential Experience & Skills</p><ul><li>Proven CFO or senior Group Finance leader within a complex, multi-site manufacturing environment, ideally with international exposure.</li><li>Strong technical expertise across financial reporting, treasury, taxation, and M&A.</li><li>Demonstrable success in leading high-performing finance teams and driving transformation in finance processes.</li><li>Track record of managing lender relationships and complex financing structures.</li></ul><p> </p><p>There is a generous package available including a significant LTI options</p><p> </p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions. - <p>Robert Half are working in an exclusive partnership with a growing business in Swindon to recruit an Accounts Assistant role on a full-time permanent basis. This is a well-rounded role that will be responsible for all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, whilst supporting with the month-end process and adhoc finance tasks. The Accounts Assistant role will be suitable for someone that is studying towards their AAT, and is keen to upskill and develop. The salary is between £28,000 - £32,000 plus study support and hybrid working (1 day from home). </p><p> </p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p> </p><p>The main duties of the Accounts Assistant role will consist of:</p><ul><li>Managing the accounts payable process; inputting invoices, matching purchase orders, statement reconciliations and preparing payments.</li><li>Bank reconciliations. </li><li>Supporting with month-end tasks such as accruals, prepayments and journals</li><li>Processing expenses and petty cash. </li><li>Supporting with the sales ledger process.</li><li>Assisting with the VAT returns.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p> </p><p>To be considered for the Accounts Assistant role, you must ideally have the following experience/skills: </p><p> </p><ul><li>Must ideally have experience within a similar role; a good understand of accounts payable and accounts receivable. </li><li>Ideally an AAT, CIMA, ACCA studier. </li><li>Good attention to detail. </li><li>Strong communication skills. </li><li>Good team player. </li><li>Keen to learn. </li><li>Adaptable. </li><li>Competent in using Excel. </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Salary & Benefits</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>£28,000 - £32,000 annual salary </li><li>Annual bonus </li><li>Study support</li><li>Hybrid working; 4 days on site, 1 day from home </li><li>25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) </li><li>Pension scheme</li><li>On site parking</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
