Management Accountant<p><strong>Management Accountant</strong><br /> <strong>Location:</strong> Selby (Hybrid Working)<br /> <strong>Salary:</strong> Up to £45,000 + Benefits</p><p> </p><p>Robert Half Finance & Accounting are looking for a skilled and ambitious <strong>Management Accountant</strong> to join a forward-thinking organisation based on the outskirts of Selby. This key role offers the chance to make a real impact on the business, producing timely and accurate financial reports, influencing decision-making across the business, and driving process improvements.</p><p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p><ul><li>Produce weekly and monthly management accounts, offering clear commentary and variance analysis.</li><li>Prepare high-volume financial data reconciliations, ensuring accuracy across multiple systems.</li><li>Collaborate with non-finance teams to help them interpret reports and understand key insights.</li><li>Provide detailed analysis of transactional data, supporting business-critical projects.</li><li>Assist in the year-end process and annual audit, maintaining financial integrity.</li><li>Manage treasury tasks and customer due diligence preparation/reviews.</li><li>Lead and develop junior team members, including the assistant management accountant and an accounting apprentice.</li></ul><p><strong>What We're Looking For:</strong></p><p><br /> <strong>Skills & Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Newly qualified accountant, passed finalist, or in later stages of ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.</li><li>Solid management accounting background or experience transitioning into industry from practice.</li><li>Previous stock accounting experience preferred.</li><li>Excellent technical accounting knowledge and strong stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Advanced Microsoft Office expertise; exposure to Excel VBA/macros is desirable.</li></ul><p><strong>Attitudes & Behaviours:</strong></p><ul><li>High attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.</li><li>Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work on your own initiative.</li><li>A collaborative mindset with the ability to bring clarity and insight to finance and non-finance teams alike.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>What's in it for You?</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive salary up to £45,000</li><li>Study Support</li><li>25 days of holiday plus 8 bank holidays.</li><li>Free on-site gym and employee assistance programme.</li></ul><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
