- <p>Exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing and well-established business based near Chippenham, offering up to £70,000 plus excellent benefits </p><p><strong>The role</strong></p><p>You'll be responsible for:</p><ul><li>maintenance of infrastructure, systems and networks across various sites (both on-premise and private cloud)</li><li>implementing and maintaining physical servers and virtualised platforms, as well as supporting future upgrade/migration projects </li><li>server patching, back-ups, disaster recovery, troubleshooting</li><li>producing technical documentation and process improvement </li><li>general networking and managing relationships with 3rd party vendors</li></ul><p><strong>About you </strong></p><p><strong>Applicants will have:</strong></p><ul><li>experience gained in a similar infrastructure engineer role, with strong skills across both on-premise and cloud environments </li><li>experience of Microsoft Server (e.g. Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy) and experience of virtualised environments (e.g. Hyper-V, VMWare) </li><li>experience of storage solutions (SAN, RAID etc.) and of back-up/disaster recovery best practice </li><li>general networking skills/understanding (e.g. network security, firewalls, routing, switching, VLANs etc.)</li><li>flexibility and ability to travel internationally on occasion</li></ul><p><strong>On offer</strong></p><p>Salary of up to £70,000 plus excellent benefits including generous pension, bonus and hybrid working</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
