<p><strong>Senior Full Stack Engineer (Python / AWS / Node.js)</strong></p><p> </p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Northampton (Hybrid - 3 days in the office and 2 days from home)</p><p>Perm Role<br /> via Robert Half Ltd</p><p> </p><p>We're looking for a <strong>Senior Full Stack Engineer </strong> to join a growing engineering team. This is the second hire for the team following a recent successful appointment, reflecting continued investment and growth.</p><p>This is a <strong>hands-on senior engineering role</strong> with a strong emphasis on <strong>back-end development (approximately 80%)</strong>, while still contributing to the front end (20%). You'll be designing, building and deploying scalable cloud-based applications and APIs within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design, develop and maintain scalable Python applications.</li><li>Build and deploy cloud-native applications and APIs using AWS.</li><li>Develop and maintain back-end services with occasional front-end development.</li><li>Design robust integrations between internal and external systems.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.</li><li>Contribute to architecture, best practices and technical decision-making.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum <strong>5 years' commercial experience</strong> developing with <strong>Python</strong>.</li><li>Minimum <strong>5 years' UK commercial experience</strong>.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with <strong>AWS</strong>, including building and deploying cloud-based applications and APIs.</li><li>Strong commercial experience with <strong>Node.js</strong> and <strong>JavaScript</strong>.</li><li>Proven experience designing and building scalable applications and integrations.</li><li>Full stack development experience with a primary focus on back-end engineering.</li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.</li><li> </li></ul><p><strong>Package</strong></p><ul><li>Annual bonus of up to <strong>15%</strong> (split between individual and company performance).</li><li>Opportunity to join a growing engineering team with significant influence over technical delivery.</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p>APPLY NOW FAST INTERVIEW PROCESS!!!</p><p>Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
