Typical security architect duties:

Design and implement a comprehensive security architecture aligned with the organization's business needs, risk profile, and compliance requirements.

Analyze security threats and vulnerabilities, recommending appropriate security controls and mitigation strategies.

Select and implement security technologies and solutions (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, data encryption, access control systems).
