An Operational Risk Analysis Manager is a critical leader responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing an organization's operational risk management framework. This role involves identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring operational risks across various departments and processes. The Manager provides strategic guidance on risk exposures, ensures compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and fosters a strong risk culture. This position demands deep expertise in operational processes, strong analytical skills, exceptional communication, and proven leadership. Typically, 7-10 years of progressive experience in risk management, internal audit, or operations within the financial services or a regulated industry, with a few years in a leadership role, is required. Relevant certifications (e.g., FRM, CRISC) are highly preferred. A profound understanding of Canadian regulatory expectations (e.g., OSFI guidelines) is paramount.
