ERP Project Manager Job Description:

Candidates for this position usually have five or more years of experience implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate clearly with coworkers across an organization. Often, companies look for candidates with expertise in ERP software such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP or NetSuite, as well as a PMP certification and a bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, finance or a related field.

Typical ERP project manager duties:

Overseeing the planning, development and integration of ERP systems

Tracking, analyzing and resolving issues with ERP systems

Managing change across the organization to ensure a gradual adoption of the new system
