Your key duties will include:</p><ul><li>Preparing end-of-month financial reports, including balance sheets, trial balance, and income statements.</li><li>Managing IFRS 16 lease requirements and ensuring compliance.</li><li>Maintaining and updating the fixed assets register.</li><li>Preparing and lodging BAS and IAS reports.</li><li>Supporting the preparation of quarterly financial reports for the parent company.</li><li>Managing payroll tax requirements and filings.</li><li>Liaising with auditors and ensuring audit readiness.</li><li>Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing solutions to streamline workflows.</li></ul><p>Your technical accounting expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail will play a vital role in driving financial accuracy and efficiency.</p><p><strong>Your Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce, or Business.</li><li>Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting roles.</li><li>Knowledge of IFRS standards, including IFRS 16, is essential.</li><li>Familiarity with BAS, IAS, and payroll tax obligations.</li><li>Experience managing fixed asset registers and reconciling financial statements.</li><li>Strong analytical and organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to identify and drive process improvement initiatives.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.</li><li>CPA or CA qualification is preferred but not mandatory.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>You are a detail-oriented and proactive professional who thrives in fast-paced environments.
