<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Company</span></strong><br /> Our client is seeking a seasoned Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager to lead their local HSE team and drive excellence in safety, compliance, and operational integrity.</p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Role</span></strong></p><p>This role reports directly to the Global HSE Manager and General Manager, and plays a critical part in ensuring our terminal operations meet the highest standards of safety and security</p><p>Your responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Develop and maintain the HSE Management System and manuals in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SS651, and HTL corporate requirements</li><li>Lead the implementation of HSE processes and procedures to ensure system effectiveness</li><li>Conduct periodic management reviews and audits to assess system adequacy and functionality</li><li>Monitor and ensure timely implementation of actions arising from audits and reviews</li><li>Manage incident and non-conformance investigations; track corrective and preventive actions to closure</li><li>Develop safety cases and maintain Major Hazard Installation (MHI) certification</li><li>Interpret and implement Group, national, and international HSE standards</li><li>Identify workplace hazards through risk assessments, inspections, and sampling; implement risk reduction measures</li><li>Organise HSE training and promotional programs to build awareness and competency</li><li>Procure and maintain safety equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)</li><li>Lead HSE committee meetings and activities</li><li>Liaise with authorities including SCDF, MOM, NEA, MPA, and others on HSE and security matters</li><li>Develop and test emergency response and crisis management plans</li><li>Maintain fire protection, emergency, and rescue equipment</li><li>Enhance emergency response systems and train Emergency Response Teams (ERT)</li><li>Respond to emergencies as required</li><li>Develop and test Terminal Security Procedures and Port Facility Security Plan</li><li>Manage security contracts and monitor system operations</li><li>Investigate security breaches and track corrective actions</li><li>Conduct periodic security reviews and audits</li></ul><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Your Profile</span></strong></p><p>As the successful candidate, you will possess a Degree in Mechanical, Marine, or Chemical Engineering with the following relevant experience:</p><ul><li>Minimum 15 years of relevant HSE experience within the Oil/Chemical industry, with at least 10 years in a managerial role</li><li>Strong knowledge of HSE systems, statutory requirements, and codes of practice</li><li>Familiarity with emergency response and fire protection systems, including testing and inspection</li><li>Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OSHAS 18001, and SS651 is an advantage</li><li>Certified WSHO (Workplace Safety & Health Officer - MOM Approved)</li><li>Certified FSM (Fire Safety Manager - SCDF Approved)</li><li>Certified Port Facility Security Officer</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional disposition</li></ul><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Apply Today</span></strong></p>Please send your resume, in WORD format only and quote reference number <strong>STE13306783</strong>, by clicking the apply button.
