They are seeking a <strong>Controller, Inventory & Cost Control</strong> to strengthen inventory governance, cost discipline, and working capital management across their manufacturing operations.</div><div style="text-align: left;"> <br /><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Role<br /><br /></span></strong></div><div style="text-align: left;">Reporting to the Finance Director, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of inventory accounting and reporting, while partnering closely with Manufacturing Finance, Procurement Finance, FP&A, Business Units, and Operations.</div><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><div style="text-align: left;">The Controller, Inventory & Cost Control is responsible for end-to-end inventory accounting, controls, and reporting across raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods. The role ensures inventory is properly valued, excess and obsolescence risks are proactively identified and reserved, logistics and freight costs are well controlled, and inventory-related working capital is continuously optimized.</div><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><div style="text-align: left;">This is a highly hands-on role requiring strong SAP expertise, deep understanding of manufacturing cost flows, and the ability to operate confidently in fast-paced month-end and quarter-end close cycles.<br /><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></div><div style="text-align: left;"><ul><li>Own end‑to‑end <strong>inventory accounting and reconciliation</strong> across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, ensuring accuracy and integrity in SAP.</li><li>Lead <strong>month‑end and quarter‑end close</strong> activities related to inventory, including journal entries, P&L review, and management reporting.</li><li>Monitor and control <strong>WIP, scrap, internal activity, freight, and logistics costs</strong>, resolving variances in a timely manner.</li><li>Proactively manage <strong>excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory</strong>, including risk identification, provisioning, utilization, and write‑offs.</li><li>Drive <strong>inventory integrity and controls</strong>, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and SOX‑compliant processes.</li><li>Prepare and consolidate <strong>inventory, working capital, and operations reporting</strong> using Power BI and BlackLine.</li><li>Partner closely with <strong>Manufacturing Finance, Procurement Finance, FP&A, Business Units, and Operations</strong> to support decision‑making and working capital optimization.</li><li>Support <strong>internal and external audits</strong>, ensuring compliance with IFRS, company policies, and control requirements.</li><li>Identify and lead <strong>process improvements</strong> to strengthen inventory reporting, reconciliation, and control efficiency.</li></ul></div><div style="text-align: left;"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><br />Your Profile<br /><br /></span></strong></div><div style="text-align: left;">As the successful candidate, you will possess the following relevant skills sets and experience</div><div style="text-align: left;"><ul><li>Degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA, CPA, or CMA preferred.</li><li>Minimum 6 to 8 years of finance or controlling experience, with strong exposure to manufacturing or operations finance.</li><li>Solid understanding of inventory accounting, cost control, and manufacturing cost flows.</li><li>Experience in the semiconductor industry or a comparable high-tech manufacturing environment is highly desirable.</li><li>Hands-on experience with SAP in a manufacturing context (S/4HANA preferred).</li><li>Strong analytical capabilities using Power BI, Tableau, and advanced Excel.</li><li>Experience with inventory reconciliations, E&O provisioning, cycle counts, and audit support.</li><li>Familiarity with internal controls, SOX, GRC, and audit requirements.</li></ul></div><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><div style="text-align: left;"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Apply Today<br /><br /></span></strong></div><div style="text-align: left;">Please send your resume, in WORD format only and quote reference number <strong>STE13450039</strong>, by clicking the apply button.
