Due to a strong focus in Asia, they are looking for an Associate with experience in Valuation and Portfolio Monitoring experience.</p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Role</span></strong></p><p><strong>Portfolio &amp; Market Monitoring</strong></p><ul><li>Engage with portfolio company management teams and investment professionals to obtain and review Board of Directors materials, Monthly Operating Reviews, and monthly and quarterly financial results.</li><li>Analyze key financial and operating metrics, including growth and profitability, liquidity and cash flow, value creation drivers, and private equity return metrics; combine quantitative analysis with qualitative assessments of company performance and momentum.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify actionable insights from portfolio company data and escalate key findings to appropriate stakeholders.</li><li>Manage and maintain a centralized database of portfolio company financial and operating information, including onboarding and integration of new portfolio companies.</li><li><strong>Valuation</strong></li><li>Coordinate and support the quarterly valuation process across the portfolio, providing analytical and operational leverage to investment teams.</li><li>Manage end-to-end quarterly valuation execution, including distribution, collection, and synthesis of valuation templates.</li></ul><p><strong>Valuation Process &amp; Reporting</strong></p><ul><li>Partner with third-party valuation firms to develop standardized valuation templates for new investments and pre-populate templates with relevant portfolio company data.</li><li>Liaise with investment professionals to support valuation development, provide inputs and analyses, and respond to valuation-related inquiries.</li><li>Review quarterly valuation materials prepared by investment teams; assess valuation methodologies and assumptions against best practices and perform qualitative reasonableness reviews.</li><li>Compile valuation summaries and review materials for Valuation Committee meetings, firm leadership, and other internal stakeholders as needed.</li><li>Prepare quarterly valuation reports for fund accounting to support the preparation of fund financial statements.</li><li>Assist in maintaining detailed valuation workpapers and documentation supporting all quarterly valuations.</li><li>Coordinate valuation reviews with third-party valuation firms and external auditors.</li><li>Prepare investment summaries for inclusion in investor reporting materials.</li></ul><p><strong>Others</strong></p><ul><li>Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of valuation and portfolio management best practices and processes.</li><li>Proactively monitor business, industry, and macroeconomic developments to assess potential impacts on portfolio company performance and valuations.</li></ul><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Your Profile</span></strong></p><p>Seeking for someone with minimally 3 years of Private Equity experience in Valuation and Portfolio Monitoring.
