The role works closely with business and compliance teams to draft, negotiate, and advise on complex financial products and strategic initiatives across APAC.</p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Role</span></strong></p><ul><li>Provide legal advice on cross-border transactional and regulatory matters, supporting APAC capital markets activities.</li><li>Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of capital markets and financial markets documentation.</li><li>Partner with business teams to support the execution of strategic initiatives, including advising on regulatory requirements and approval processes.</li><li>Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and transactional risks, while offering practical and solutions-oriented legal input on new products and initiatives.</li><li>Work closely with Compliance and internal Legal stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory and internal policy requirements.</li><li>Monitor and communicate key legal and regulatory developments relevant to businesses.</li></ul><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"> </span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Your Profile</span></strong></p><ul><li>Qualified lawyer admitted in Singapore, Hong Kong, England &amp; Wales, the United States, or another common-law jurisdiction.</li><li>4-7 years of relevant legal experience, gained in a leading law firm or financial services institution.</li><li>Experience advising financial institutions on cross-border transactions and regulatory matters in Asia is preferred.</li><li>Strong technical knowledge of laws relating to capital markets, securities, derivatives, structured finance, and related tax considerations.</li><li>Comfortable working in multinational, cross-functional teams; familiarity with Singapore securities laws and MAS regulations is an advantage.</li><li>Knowledge of U<strong>.</strong> securities laws and banking regulations, and their impact on global business models, is a plus.</li></ul><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Apply Today</span></strong></p><p>Please send your resume, in WORD format only and quote reference number <strong>DC</strong><strong>13359908</strong>, by clicking the apply button.
