The Role Reporting to the Network & Security Project Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering exciting new projects, including a major network security initiative focused on operational technology (OT) environments. You'll work closely with a tight-knit team of five in NZ, collaborating with global teams led out of Australia. Your responsibilities include:<ul><li>Implementing, monitoring, and managing local and wide area networks for maximum uptime.</li><li>Supporting system configurations, documenting installations, and managing upgrades.</li><li>Maintaining and improving existing network infrastructure.</li><li>Participating in an on-call roster (1 in every 4-5 weeks) for a 24/7 operational site.</li></ul> This is an onsite role with flexibility in working hours to allow for avoiding traffic. What You'll Bring<ul><li>3-5 years of networking experience in enterprise environments.</li><li>Advanced skills in Cisco Networking (switching, routing, security solutions).</li><li>Strong knowledge of FortiGate Firewalls (configuration, management, troubleshooting).</li><li>Expertise in industrial network security, OT/IT convergence, and segmentation strategies.</li><li>Familiarity with PERA Model and security zone design (Levels 0-4).</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and optimize performance.</li><li>Experience with SCADA/HMI environments and security policy implementation.</li><li>Strong documentation skills.</li></ul>Certifications<ul><li>Cisco CCNP (Enterprise/Security) or equivalent experience.</li><li>Fortinet NSE 4+ or equivalent FortiGate experience.</li><li>CCNA (required).</li></ul>Experience with Operational Technology (OT) network implementation is highly advantageous.
