Company Profile Join our multinational client that is operating within Japan logistics real estate sector, and looking for a Finance Manager who will be a #1 in Japan finance for a small office in Tokyo. The Role * Lead an associate and handle the daily tasks such as payments, expense claims, invoice issuance, etc. * Work with local accounting firm for preparation of monthly management accounts before deadline * Ensure adherence to Japan GAAP and internal financial and compliance policies while managing risks and controls * Identify and implement best practices to improve financial reporting accuracy and process efficiency * Provide requested information/documents to auditors for annual audit and make sure the audit can be completed before deadline * Work with the local tax accountant to ensure statutory tax filings are prepared accurately and filed before deadlines * Collaborate closely with other departments such as Asset Management Team to ensure project related revenue and expenses are captured accurately in the financial statements on timely basis * Participate in monitoring and reporting of financial activities, including budget and forecast Your Skills * Fluent Japanese and business level English (will report overseas) * 6+ years of accounting experience * Strong J GAAP knowledge * Supervising / people management experience.
