  • <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>The Company</strong></span></p><p>This role will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, financial control and accounting standards, and the smooth operation of month-end and year-end close processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, hands-on management experience, and a proactive mindset suited to a global banking environment.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>The Role</strong></span></p><ul><li>Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial closing activities</li><li>Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting</li><li>Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal controls, group policies, and external regulatory guidelines</li><li>Liaise with internal stakeholders, auditors, regulators, and regional/global finance teams</li><li>Review balance sheet accounts and investigate variances or discrepancies</li><li>Support audits, regulatory reporting, and ad-hoc finance projects</li><li>Lead, coach, and develop junior accounting staff, fostering a high-performance culture</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Your Profile</strong></span></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline</li><li>Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent)</li><li>Minimum 7-10 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within banking or financial services</li><li>Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards</li><li>Experience managing or reviewing accounting work and leading small teams</li><li>High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment</li><li>Proficient in Excel and financial systems; experience with regional reporting is an advantage</li><li>Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Apply Today </span></strong></p><p>To apply online (Word attachment only), please click the 'Apply' button.
