<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Company</span></strong></p><p>A very well-established Asset Management is looking for a Finance Transformation Lead to implement and facilitate Microsoft Dynamics implementation.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Role</span></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Strategic Alignment &amp; Accounting Integrity:</strong>Translate the firm's strategic objectives into a clear finance transformation roadmap and ERP requirements. Ensure the system design enforces <strong>accounting policy compliance</strong>, maintains a robust <strong>audit trail</strong>, and supports accurate <strong>financial statement preparation</strong> under relevant GAAP/IFRS.</li><li><strong>Accounting Process Re-engineering:</strong>Lead the redesign of core accounting processes with emphasis on <strong>fund accounting specifics</strong>: investment income recognition, fair value adjustments, fee calculations (management &amp; performance), capital call/distribution accounting, and complex inter-entity eliminations. Design controls for the <strong>month-end close</strong> within D365.</li><li><strong>ERP Solution Leadership &amp; Chart of Accounts Design:</strong>Serve as the ultimate finance authority on the D365 project. Own the design and implementation of the <strong>master data framework</strong>, including the <strong>Chart of Accounts</strong>, financial dimensions, and accounting hierarchies that meet both management and regulatory reporting needs.</li><li><strong>Technical Accounting Integration:</strong>Work with investment and product teams to ensure D365 properly supports the <strong>accounting treatment for diverse investment vehicles</strong> (e.g., funds, SPVs, co-investments) and financial instruments. Validate system logic for automated journal entries.</li><li><strong>Programme Governance &amp; PMO Rigor:</strong>Establish and run robust PMO disciplines for the finance workstream: detailed planning, scope &amp; change control, risk/issue management, status reporting, and budget tracking. Prepare materials for Steering Committee reviews.</li><li><strong>Stakeholder &amp; Change Leadership:</strong>Champion the change. Manage expectations, communicate progress, and mitigate resistance. Develop training strategies and ensure the finance team is prepared for new processes and technologies.</li><li><strong>Testing &amp; Financial Assurance:</strong>Oversee all finance testing phases. Design <strong>UAT scenarios that validate accounting accuracy</strong>, reporting outputs, and compliance with internal controls before go-live.
