Your expertise will play a critical role in optimizing cost efficiencies, ensuring accurate budgeting, and contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.<ul><li>Cost Analysis: Analyse absorption variances by comparing actual manufacturing costs to budgeted costs, identifying factors contributing to variances, and proposing corrective actions.</li><li>Forecasting & Budgeting: Collaborate with departments to forecast manufacturing variances and support expenses, develop annual budgets, monitor performance, and provide Budget vs Actual reports.</li><li>Product Costing: Calculate and maintain accurate product costs, including direct materials, labour, and overhead. Validate cost data in product bills of materials (BOMs).</li><li>Variance Reporting: Prepare detailed manufacturing cost variance reports, highlighting key drivers and trends. Present analyses to management and deliver actionable insights.</li><li>Cost Optimization: Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements. Verify cost savings from Lean/process improvement projects for division KPI reporting.</li><li>Investment Evaluation: Compute Return on Investment (ROI) to assess financial performance and attractiveness of investment opportunities.</li><li>Inventory Management: Partner with the inventory team for accurate costing of inventory items and resolution of discrepancies.</li><li>Stock Take Leadership: Lead annual stock take exercises for multiple warehouses, including planning, preparation, and post-stock take reporting.</li><li>Financial Advisory: Act as a financial advisor to the Plant Manager, fostering close collaboration.</li><li>Capex Monitoring: Monitor and control capital expenditure (Capex) to ensure alignment with approved budgets and business objectives.</li></ul>Your ProfileAs the successful candidate, you will possess the following relevant skills sets and experience:<ul><li>Diploma / Degree in Accounting or ACCA qualification</li><li>Proven experience in accounting within a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on costing</li><li>Background in inventory management</li><li>Experience working with ERP systems and proficiency in Excel (vlookup, pivot tables); basic PowerPoint skills</li><li>Willingness to take occasional night/early morning calls with US</li><li>Ability to work independently, show flexibility, adaptability, and initiative</li><li>Good communication and presentation skills</li></ul>Apply TodayPlease send your resume, in WORD format only and quote reference number STE13430851, by clicking the apply button.
