This role acts as a technology partner to the business, ensuring platforms, data, and systems enable growth, operational excellence, and innovation while maintaining the highest standards of resilience, security, and compliance.</p><p>The role requires a leader who combines strong technical depth with commercial and stakeholder acumen, capable of translating business strategy into scalable, secure, and high-performing technology solutions across front, middle, and back office functions.</p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Role</span></strong></p><p>Technology Strategy & Architecture</p><ul><li>Define and own the enterprise technology strategy aligned with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and long-term growth plans.</li><li>Lead architecture decisions across applications, infrastructure, cloud, data, and integration platforms.</li><li>Drive modernization initiatives including cloud adoption, platform re-architecture, SaaS implementation, and technical debt reduction.</li><li>Ensure technology scalability, availability, and performance across all critical systems.</li></ul><p>Business Partnership & Delivery</p><ul><li>Act as a trusted technology advisor to senior business leaders across trading, investment, risk, finance, operations, and distribution.</li><li>Translate business requirements into clear technology roadmaps and executable delivery plans.</li><li>Oversee delivery of complex, cross-functional programs with strong governance, budgeting, and outcome ownership.</li><li>Balance speed of delivery with operational stability, security, and regulatory compliance.</li></ul><p>Leadership & People Management</p><ul><li>Lead, build, and develop high-performing technology teams across engineering, architecture, infrastructure, data, and security.</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Mentor and develop future technology leaders, ensuring strong succession planning.</li><li>Manage internal teams and external partners, including vendors, system integrators, and managed service providers.</li></ul><p>Risk, Security & Compliance</p><ul><li>Ensure full compliance with regulatory, security, and data-protection requirements relevant to Financial Services.</li><li>Partner closely with Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Information Security to manage technology risk.</li><li>Establish robust operational controls, disaster recovery, and business continuity frameworks. Take accountability for technology governance, audits, and regulatory engagements.</li></ul><p>Innovation & Change</p><ul><li>Stay at the forefront of technology trends in Financial Services, including cloud, data/analytics, AI/GenAI, automation, and cybersecurity.</li><li>Identify and implement innovations that create measurable business value.</li></ul><ul><li>Drive change management and adoption across the organization.</li></ul><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Your Profile</span></strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">:</span></p><ul><li>Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.</li><li>15+ years of experience in technology leadership roles within Financial Services or closely related regulated environments.</li><li>Strong background across front, middle, and back office systems (e.g., trading, investment platforms, risk, finance, operations).</li><li>Proven experience delivering large-scale technology transformations (cloud, platform modernization, data/analytics, operating model change).</li><li>Deep understanding of Financial Services regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to partner with senior business stakeholders and influence at executive level.</li><li>Strong people leader with experience managing multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.</li><li>Commercially minded, with experience managing budgets, vendors, and technology investment decisions.</li></ul><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Apply Today</span></strong></p><p>Please send your resume, in WORD format only and quote reference number <strong>DC13368641</strong>, by clicking the apply button.
