Due to expanding business needs, we are actively recruiting for a Group Financial Controller to be the first finance hire based in Singapore. The Role </div><div style="text-align: left;">Reporting to the CFO, you will be building the local finance team and overseeing statutory accounting, reporting and consolidation of Singapore entities across monthly, quarterly and annual cycles. Manage complex consolidation including joint ventures, equity method accounting, non-controlling interests, partially owned subsidiaries, intercompany eliminations and multi-layer ownership structures. Prepare consolidation support schedules, technical accounting analyses and audit documentation. Coordinate intercompany reconciliations across jurisdictions. Be the key point of contact with auditors, banks, legal counsel and regulatory bodies. Design and implement scalable finance processes and controls in Singapore. Your Profile </div><div style="text-align: left;">To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy with minimum 10 years of relevant experience ideally in Big 4 and shipping MNCs. The CompanyOur client is a leading FSI company and we are seeking a meticulous and driven Executive to join their Disbursement team within the Finance Operations division.The Role<ul><li>Process full suites of payment requests across multiple streams accurately and on time.</li><li>Ensure all payments are approved within authorisation limits and supported by the required signatories.</li><li>Process all payment types and recoveries, ensuring completeness at every stage.</li><li>Prepare payment and journal vouchers, ensuring expenses are allocated to the correct account codes and cost centres.</li><li>Prepare monthly GL schedules and perform related reconciliations.</li><li>Handle payment enquiries and feedback from customers, channels, and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Contribute to work process reviews and initiatives to improve operational efficiency.</li><li>Support system and project testing as required.</li><li>Manage bank account creation and maintenance.</li><li>Maintain and update standard operating procedures.</li></ul><ul><li>Provide backup coverage across the team when needed.</li></ul>Your Profile<ul><li>Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.</li><li>Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in payment processing or finance operations.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of PowerBI and Power Query is an advantage.</li><li>Experience with SAP accounting system is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and process high volumes of data.</li><li>Able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.</li><li>Proactive, organised, and analytical with good communication and interpersonal skills.</li></ul><ul><li>A collaborative team player with a positive and professional disposition.</li></ul>Apply TodayPlease send your resume, in WORD format only and quote reference number GO13439980, by clicking the apply button.
