You will maintain and regularly review the AR aging, perform necessary adjustments to ensure it is accurate and reconciled with the general ledger, while applying incoming receipts and matching them against outstanding invoices. The position involves conducting regular reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies, and preparing weekly Statements of Account (SOAs) for stakeholders. You will actively monitor collections, follow up on overdue balances in collaboration with the Manager, and handle disputes, short payments, and unallocated receipts. Additionally, you will maintain customer master data and credit records, support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, assist with intercompany reconciliations, and ensure compliance with internal financial policies, controls, and data confidentiality requirements.</div><div style="text-align: left;"> <br /><br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Your Profile<br /><br /></span></strong></div><div style="text-align: left;">To be successful in this role, you have 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and exposure to IFRS being an advantage. You should be hands-on with ERP or accounting systems (such as NetSuite) and possess strong Excel skills, particularly in handling large datasets, pivot tables, and XLOOKUPs for aging and reconciliation work. Familiarity with core AR processes including invoicing, cash application, collections, and reconciliations is essential, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high transaction volumes. Clear written and verbal communication skills are required for collections follow-ups and statement management.
