With purpose built offices in South Auckland, this company has invested in its infrastructure and can offer a great place to work.</p><p><br /><strong>The Role<br /></strong><br />The role of Financial Accountant will report directly to the GM Finance and is a newly created role due to the growth of the business over the past few years. The core responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Prepare and own the month end close, including variance analysis and commentary on performance thereon</li><li>Prepare the tax compliance of GST, FBT, PAYE and assisting the GM Finance with income tax</li><li>Own the year end statutory reporting and annual return filing as well as managing the year end Audit process</li><li>Ensure the integrity of the General ledger and ensure a strong internal controls and policies environment.</li><li>Prepare and review the reconciliations and ensure any complex issues are resolved</li><li>Cashflow management</li><li>Ensure systems and processes are maintained and in years to come be involved in a systems project to update the existing Accounting system</li><li>Other ad hoc duties as required.</li></ul><p><strong>Your Profile</strong><br /><br />To be considered for this role, we are looking for a CA / CPA qualified Accountant who is looking for a career role within industry.
