There is a person in the team that provides backup for this function when you take a holiday so you are well supported. This role will involve managing all aspects of payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing on a weekly and monthly basis. The company is about to go live on Datapay and Rosterspace (time & attendance) so you will have the opportunity to mould some of the processes and continue with process improvement. Your responsibilities will include: <br /><br /><strong>Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Taking ownership of end-to-end payroll processes, including payroll calculations, and processing of employee pays. The payroll is circa 750 waged and salaried staff.</li><li>Being the super user of Rosterspace</li><li>Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, collective agreements, and company policies.</li><li>Process and reconcile employee leave, allowances, and deductions accurately.</li><li>Prepare and distribute payslips and maintain accurate payroll records.</li><li>Respond to payroll inquiries from employees, providing exceptional customer service and resolving any issues in a timely manner.</li><li>Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.</li><li>Generate payroll reports and contribute to month-end and payroll reconciliations.</li><li>Other ad hoc duties as required</li><li>Additionally you could pick up other finance duties such as reconciliation work if desired.</li></ul><p><strong>Your Profile</strong><br />To be considered, we are looking for an experienced payroll senior who is keen to take on the responsibility of a sole charge position.
