This is a unique opportunity to both refine your technical accounting expertise and make a real impact, working within an ambitious and innovative team.</p><h3 id="key-responsibilities">Key Responsibilities:</h3><p><strong>General Accounting &amp; Financial Reporting</strong></p><ul><li>Perform daily accounting across multiple entities.</li><li>Prepare journal entries, accruals, and year-end adjustments.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Dutch GAAP and internal standards for financial records.</li><li>Assist in preparing annual financial statements and statutory filings.</li><li>Manage vendor invoice processing, employee expense claims, and approval workflows.</li><li>Handle VAT returns and indirect tax submissions for multiple entities.</li><li>Maintain fixed asset registers, including capitalization and depreciation postings.</li><li>Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors for compliance reviews.</li></ul><p><strong>Treasury &amp; Cash Management</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain oversight of cash positions across entities.</li><li>Support payment runs and ensure all internal control protocols are met.</li><li>Assist with interest calculations, loan reconciliations, and cash flow forecasts.</li></ul><h3 id="your-profile">Your Profile:</h3><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.</li><li>3-5 years of experience in accounting or audit within an international environment; Big 4 experience is a plus.</li><li>Strong familiarity with Dutch GAAP and financial reporting standards.</li><li>Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with an analytical mindset.</li><li>Ability to handle multiple priorities independently.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and communication skills.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.</li><li>Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Dutch or other languages is an advantage.</li><li>Experience in the Renewable, Offshore, or Maritime industry is considered a plus.</li></ul><h3 id="what-we-offer">What We Offer:</h3><ul><li><strong>Annual salary of €60,000 - €80,000, including holiday allowance, based on 40 hours per week and experience.</strong></li><li>26 vacation days per year (pro-rated for full-time employment).</li><li>Travel allowance and other competitive benefits.</li><li>A dynamic and international working environment, fostering innovation and collaboration.</li><li>Opportunities for both professional and personal development.</li></ul><p>Be a part of our client's meaningful mission to accelerate the energy transition and contribute to a more sustainable future.
