<p><strong>Summary:</strong><br /> We are looking for a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our cloud-based infrastructure. This role involves maintaining system uptime, managing incidents, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize performance.</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Reliability Management:</strong> Establish reliability goals and error budgets, define/monitor Service Level Indicators (SLIs), and enhance Service Level Objectives (SLOs) continuously.</li><li><strong>Incident Management:</strong> Handle on-call responsibilities, triage and respond to incidents, execute emergency remediations, and lead post-incident reviews.</li><li><strong>Monitoring & Operations:</strong> Actively oversee system health, develop monitoring solutions, manage logs/dashboards/alerts, and detect deviations from SLOs.</li><li><strong>Process Optimization:</strong> Standardize incident management practices across the organization, provide training, and boost metrics like Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) and Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR).</li><li><strong>Architecture & Planning:</strong> Map critical workflows and dependencies, offer architectural insights, and take charge of capacity planning and cost reductions.</li><li><strong>Change Management:</strong> Design change management strategies and solutions for monitoring, disaster recovery, and gradual deployment mechanisms (i.e., canary releases).</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Qualifications (Mandatory):</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of experience in SRE and/or DevOps roles within cloud-based environments.</li><li>Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Go, Rust, or Python.</li><li>Hands-on expertise in managing large-scale production systems leveraging cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Istio, Kubernetes, Grafana).</li><li>English language skills at a business proficiency level.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent applicable experience).</li><li>Demonstrated ability to deliver impactful results both independently and in teams.</li><li>Proficiency in Japanese at a business level.</li><li>Experience utilizing infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.</li></ul><p><strong>Collaborative Environment:</strong><br /> You will work in close partnership with fellow SREs, developers, Product Owners, and Product Managers to champion the reliability and operational excellence of our technical infrastructure.</p><p>Reference no.: 06940-0013272620</p><p><em>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
