Positioned as a key business partner, the role requires not only strong HR expertise but also leadership and vision to support organizational transformation and strengthen the HR team's capability. Key responsibilities include:<br /><br />- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR initiatives and systems aligned with business goals to drive employee engagement, efficiency, and sustainability across Japan and China.<br />- Recruitment &amp; Talent Development: Oversee recruitment processes, craft effective onboarding plans, and foster training programs to build a skilled workforce.<br />- Performance Optimization: Manage the transition from a seniority-based system to a merit-based evaluation framework, ensuring transparency and alignment around corporate goals.<br />- Benefits &amp; Compliance: Propose pension plan modifications and ensure compliance with labor laws and disciplinary procedures in both countries.<br />- Union Relations: Build and maintain relationships with Japan's labor union, ensuring smooth communication and proactive conflict resolution.<br />- Cross-Regional Collaboration: Establish effective partnerships with Global HR teams in headquarters and collaborate closely with operations in China.<br /><br />Best Fit?<br />This position requires an experienced and forward-thinking HR leader who thrives in an international, multicultural environment.
