As the business continues to grow, they are seeking an experienced (Senior) Manager, KYC to lead a local KYC team and drive operational excellence across client due diligence and periodic review activities.Working closely with regional stakeholders, Compliance, AML, and onboarding teams, you will be responsible for overseeing KYC processes, managing regulatory requirements, enhancing controls, and ensuring high-quality client lifecycle management. The Role<ul><li>Team Leadership & People Management: Lead and supervise the local KYC team, providing guidance, coaching, and oversight while partnering closely with the Head of KYC Operations.</li><li>Periodic Review & KYC Oversight: Manage periodic reviews and ongoing KYC activities for existing clients, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Client Due Diligence: Conduct in-depth analysis of client ownership structures, source documentation, and risk profiles to support accurate client classification and regulatory compliance.</li><li>SME Advisory: Act as a subject matter expert on KYC requirements, advising stakeholders on documentation standards, regulatory expectations, and process exceptions.</li><li>Risk & Regulatory Assessment: Perform risk assessments and regulatory classifications of existing clients to ensure appropriate due diligence standards are maintained.</li><li>Client Engagement & Issue Resolution: Liaise directly with clients on periodic review requirements, resolve KYC-related issues, and escalate higher-risk matters to AML and Compliance teams where appropriate.</li><li>Quality Control & Verification: Review and validate client documentation against external databases, public sources, and screening tools in accordance with Customer Identification Program requirements.</li><li>Process Improvement & Transformation: Identify opportunities to improve KYC processes, controls, and technology solutions, supporting implementation of operational enhancements and efficiencies.</li><li>Regulatory & Audit Management: Stay abreast of regulatory developments and support responses to internal audit, compliance reviews, and regulatory inquiries related to KYC processes and client records.</li><li>Cross-Regional Collaboration: Work closely with regional teams to ensure consistency of standards, communication of regulatory changes, and alignment of KYC best practices across the organization.</li></ul> Your Profile<ul><li>Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant discipline.</li><li>10+ years of experience within KYC, customer due diligence, client lifecycle management, or financial crime compliance.</li><li>Prior team management or supervisory experience is highly preferred.</li><li>Strong exposure to a broad range of client types, including corporates, financial institutions, investment funds, trusts, and special-purpose entities.</li><li>Sound understanding of corporate ownership structures, legal entity documentation, and beneficial ownership requirements.</li><li>Familiarity with regulatory and AML frameworks within the financial services industry.</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both internal and external parties.</li><li>Ability to review documentation in both English and Chinese is advantageous.</li><li>Knowledge of investment products, financial markets, and operational workflows would be beneficial.</li><li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong analytical mindset with the ability to investigate complex situations and apply sound judgment.</li><li>Proactive approach to problem-solving, process improvement, and relationship management. </li></ul>Apply Today To apply online (Word attachment only), please click the 'Apply' button.
