We are currently seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our tight-knit finance team. The Role<ul><li>Financial & Management Accounting (Full Set)</li><li>Handle full set of accounts including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations.</li><li>Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis for senior management.</li><li>Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and treasury functions.</li><li>Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of year-end audits and tax filings.</li><li>Regulatory Reporting & Compliance (FRR)</li><li>Prepare and submit Financial Resources Rules (FRR) returns to the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for Type 1 (Dealing in Securities), Type 4 (Advising on Securities), and Type 9 (Asset Management) licenses.</li><li>Monitor the firm's liquid capital, ensuring strict adherence to the SFC's capital adequacy requirements.</li><li>Act as the key point of contact for regulatory inquiries regarding financial reporting and FRR matters.</li><li>Operational & Process Improvement</li><li>Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and accounting policies.</li><li>Support the finance team in ad-hoc projects, system upgrades, and process automation initiatives.</li></ul> Your Profile<ul><li>Education:Currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).</li><li>Experience:3-5 years of relevant experience in an accounting role; exposure to AP/AR is preferred.</li><li>Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with ERP systems is an advantage.</li><li>Mindset:You are proactive, eager to learn, and take ownership of your work.
