CRM Developer Job Description

The CRM developer is a software engineer who plays a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. The role leverages programming expertise to customize, integrate, and extend CRM functionalities to meet specific business needs and improve customer interactions.

Typical CRM developer duties:

Analyze and understand business requirements to design and develop custom features and functionalities for the CRM system. Develop and implement integrations between the CRM system and other internal or external applications (e.g., marketing automation tools, e-commerce platforms). Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using relevant programming languages and frameworks (often specific to the chosen CRM platform). Configure and customize CRM workflows, automations, and dashboards. Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure the quality and functionality of developed features. Collaborate with CRM administrators, business analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle. Maintain and troubleshoot existing CRM functionalities.
