Compliance Analyst

Compliance Analyst Job Description:

Compliance analysts must be highly organized, with excellent problem-solving, communication and research skills. They usually hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or business and have at least two years of related work experience. Strong candidates for this position have a solid understanding of risk assessment and mitigation, as well as the legal and regulatory environment in their industry.

Typical Duties of a Compliance Analyst:

Developing, implementing and managing the organization’s compliance and risk-assessment program Coordinating with external risk assessment and compliance professionals, as well as federal and provincial regulators Assessing new laws and regulations and their impact on the company Communicating regulations and identified risks to management and employees across the company
