Bank Teller

Bank Teller Job Description:

Typically one or more years of bank or credit union experience is preferred, as well as a high school diploma or the equivalent. Strong math, organizational, customer service and communication skills are also preferred.

Typical Duties of a Bank Teller:

Processing and recording routine transactions for bank customers including receiving deposits and loan payments, cashing cheques, issuing savings withdrawals and recording night and mail deposits Performing specialized tasks such as preparing cashier’s cheques and personal money orders and exchanging foreign currency Cross-marketing bank products and services to customers by informing and educating customers
