<p><strong>Robert Half</strong> is currently recruiting a <strong>Budget Controller (m/f/x)</strong> to join a company active in the <strong>maritime industry</strong>.</p><p>Our client is located in <strong>Antwerp</strong>.</p><p>As a <strong>Budget Controller</strong>, your responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Supporting Accounts Payable to ensure correct input of all expenses, both actuals and accruals;</li><li>Analyzing monthly figures and addressing deviations from budget;</li><li>Issuing reports in chosen formats for customers;</li><li>Initiating OPEX review and forecast revision quarterly, in collaboration with Superintendents and Heads of Fleet Management;</li><li>Supporting the annual budget exercise, gathering information from different departments, aligning with customers, and uploading final budget to system;</li><li>Preparing quarterly forecast revision in consultation with Superintendents &amp; Crewing Department;</li><li>Issuing reports for the technical/crewing follow-up;</li><li>Gathering quarterly KPI reporting regarding vessel operating expenses for management and HSEQ;</li><li>Monitoring customer balance &amp; cash situation;</li><li>Aligning with customers to ensure timely funding;</li><li>Monitoring supplier balances &amp; investigating aged invoices;</li><li>Taking part in ad-hoc projects, including implementation of a new ERP system.</li></ul><p>The ideal candidate will possess the following <strong>qualifications and skills</strong>:</p><ul><li>You hold a Master's degree in Finance and Accounting;</li><li>You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in finance/controlling with a good knowledge of MS Office and PowerBI;</li><li>Experience in the maritime industry is a significant plus;</li><li>You have excellent problem-solving skills;</li><li>You have the ability to analyze data and report in a clear manner to make it understandable for others;</li><li>You are fluent in written and spoken English and Dutch.</li></ul><p><strong>Offer:</strong></p><ul><li>A challenging role in an international environment;</li><li>The opportunity to advance your career in a dynamic company;</li><li>Competitive remuneration package.</li></ul><p>Are you interested in this challenging position?
