<p><strong>Robert Half</strong> <strong>Talent Solutions</strong> is currently looking for a <strong>Consolidation &amp; IFRS Expert (m/f/x) </strong>for a permanent position based in <strong>Brussels</strong>.</p><p>Our client is a fast-growing company active in the <strong>technology sector</strong>.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p>Your <strong>responsibilities</strong> will include:</p><ul><li>Overseeing the intercompany reconciliation process, investigate and solve mismatch in collaboration with local accounting teams, document the process</li><li>Data stewardship in maintaining entities and business unit tables in intercompany tool</li><li>Responsible for the monthly preparation of <strong>IFRS</strong> 16 bookings as well as the bi-annual update of contracts in the central tool</li><li>Responsible for quality and consistency controls of the consolidated package</li><li>First point of contact to local finance teams (global finance services) to analyse and propose solutions for errors found in package</li><li><strong>Partner with local finance teams</strong> (global finance services) to monitor data quality, assure accuracy and improve processes</li><li>Proactively identify, investigate, correct and remediate discrepancies or irregularities in financial data's in an autonomous manner</li><li>The <strong>consolidation of subgroups</strong></li></ul><p>The required <strong>profile</strong> for the <strong>Consolidation &amp; IFRS Expert (m/f/x) </strong>position:</p><ul><li>A Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field</li><li>At least <strong>5 years of experience</strong> in an accounting environment, audit (BIG 4) or finance consolidation department</li><li>A strong understanding of financial principles and accounting concepts, including <strong>IFRS</strong> standards</li><li>Fluency in <strong>English</strong></li><li>The ability to work in a highly information system-driven environment, including proficiency in Office tools (mainly Excel), SharePoint, Consolidation and Reporting tools, and disclosure management solutions, ).
