  • <p><strong>Robert Half</strong> <strong>Talent Solutions</strong> is currently looking for an <strong>IFRS 17 Technical Analyst (m/f/x) </strong>for a permanent position based in <strong>Brussels</strong>.</p><p>Our client is a fast growing company active in the <strong>insurance sector</strong>.</p><p>As <strong>IFRS 17 Technical Analyst (m/f/x) </strong>you will be <strong>responsible</strong> for:</p><ul><li>You act as a bridge between business teams (risk management and accounting) and technical teams regarding the IFRS17 calculation engine. You combine business process knowledge with the IFRS17 expertise and understanding of the technical solution used for IFRS data processing and calculations;</li><li>You translate regulatory requirements, business requirements and technical requirements into clear designs (functional and technical) for the technical teams maintaining the IFRS17 calculation engine. When needed you help the technical team with developments inside the IFRS17 tool;</li><li>You act as a quality gate overseeing data quality for the different IFRS calculation. Thereby you help validating the accuracy and completeness of regulatory reports related to IFRS, you help identifying and rectifying discrepancies when necessary;</li><li>You collaborate with colleagues such that you stay up to date with the latest changes, guidelines, and interpretations of IFRS standards. You help ensure the organisation's adherence to these standards in financial reporting by monitoring regulatory developments related to IFRS and assess their potential impact on the organisation. You propose and implement necessary changes to stay compliant;</li><li>You help maintain comprehensive documentation of IFRS reporting processes, methodologies, and calculations, ensuring transparency and auditability.</li></ul><p>The required <strong>profile</strong> for the <strong>IFRS 17 Technical Analyst (m/f/x) </strong>position:</p><ul><li>You have at least 7 years of relevant experience as a developer, financial analyst or business analyst with a specialisation in financial or regulatory reporting;</li><li>You have strong knowledge of the IFRS17 accounting standard;</li><li>You have a proven ability to provide functional and technical support for solutions build in SQL and R.
