This contract role has arisen due to projects and increase in workload.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong><br />The role of Finance Business partner will report to a Finance Manager and you will be working with a number of other Finance Business Partners in the team. Your focus in this role will focus on;</p><ul><li>Business Partner with Project managers and stakeholders to develop project budgets, forecasts and cost estimates.</li><li>Analyse project financial data to identify any risks or opportunities and areas for cost optimisation</li><li>Track project costs to budget and report thereon and make recommendations for any correction action</li><li>Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for projects, including P&amp;L, B/S and cashflows and present to stakeholders, both financial and non-financial delivering key insights</li><li>Set up and maintain project accounting systems and processes and ensure data is captured to allow correct revenue recognition and cost capturing</li><li>Report on WIP &amp; progress on projects - ensuring all data is captured accurately to ensure project profitability can be reported on.</li><li>Work closely with the procurement manager to ensure purchase orders are raised and managing costs</li><li>Ensure compliance of reporting to accounting standards, regulations and policies and ensure internal controls are in place to ensure the financial integrity</li><li>Conduct financial analysis of project performance, including identifying trends, patterns and opportunities</li><li>Collaborate with stakeholders and act as the financial advisor on projects within the business.</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Your Profile</strong><br />We are looking for a well rounded Project Accountant / Finance Business partner who is ideally experienced in large-scale construction or IT projects.
