- <p><strong>The Company</strong><br />My client is a large complex NZ owned business who has a well known brand. The company has a diverse portfolio of offering and is based in the City. The organisation is now looking for a Financial Analyst to join the expanding team.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><ul><li>Reporting to a Finance Business Partner, you will provide hands on support in preparing and analysing management accounts across the group. You will be involved in month end reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and longer term planning, while working closely with stakeholders to provide meaningful financial insights.</li><li>Key aspects of the role include:</li><li>Assisting with monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cashflow</li><li>Supporting analysis of actuals against budget or forecast</li><li>Preparing commentary and insights to accompany management reports for senior leadership and boards</li><li>Contributing to annual planning and longer term (e.g. 5 year) financial plans</li><li>Producing ad hoc reporting and deep dive analysis as required, including calculating IRR/NPV/WAAC</li><li>Providing timely, accurate, and robust financial analysis to support commercial decision making</li></ul><p><strong>Your Profile</strong><br />To be successful in this role, you will bring strong technical foundations, a collaborative working style, and a genuine interest in commercial finance.<br /><br />You will ideally have:</p><ul><li>2-3 years' experience in finance or accounting roles</li><li>An interest in studying CFA level 1 or level 2</li><li>Ambitious and hungry to learn and grow</li><li>Progress toward a tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance</li><li>Strong Excel capability, including financial models</li><li>Clear written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint</li><li>The ability to work effectively within a team and engage with stakeholders</li></ul><p><strong>Apply Today</strong><br />Please send your resume by clicking on the apply button or call Nick Neutze on 09 915 6700<br /><br /><em>Reference Number: 06900-0013411446</em></p><p><em>By clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
