They have a member of their team stepping away from the business and therefore require a contractor to come onboard to assist during this period.</p><p><strong>The Role<br /></strong><br />In this role you will be working in a small finance team reporting to the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for the day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable function for the business as well as weekly payroll. You will be critical to the success of the wider business and your responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Managing the full Accounts Payable function using Microsoft BC.</li><li>Processing accounts payable invoices</li><li>Completing weekly and fortnightly payment runs</li><li>Investigating and querying any invoice discrepancies</li><li>Completing supplier reconciliations via excel</li><li>Managing the payroll for the business for approximately 80 employees using MYOB.</li><li>Responding to all supplier queries</li><li>Allocating and receipting incoming payments (AR)</li><li>Complete daily bank reconciliations for all branches</li></ul><p><strong><br />Your profile:</strong></p><p>You will have proven experience in an Accounts Clerk or Accounts Assistant position, where you have really taken ownership of the function, whether that be in a team or sole-charge capacity. Payroll experience is essential. You will also be deadline driven with excellent communication skills. Experience with MYOB Payroll is desirable but not essential.
