This is a company that is more complex than one first thinks which has also necessitated the need for this role. The Finance team needs another head to join the team to give the Group Financial Controller and her reports more capability and support in the team.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong><br />The role of Finance Business Partner is a broad role where you can make your own mark. The purpose of this role is to work across a large portfolio of project initiatives, which supports the new strategy of the organisation. Your key responsibilities will include:<br />Working within the finance and strategy team to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of project portfolio financial management processes, standards, controls and systems. <br />Providing financial quality assurance on all relevant project documentation and providing financial analysis/modelling to support business case and project-related decision making and delivery.<br />Working with business units and technology teams to support the process and procedure for raising requests to the Portfolio Management Committee.<br />Validates and contributes to business cases initiatives identified by the workstream owners.<br />Working with business units to translate financial aspirations and cost reduction targets into clear metrics.<br />Working with business units to ensure project benefits are being realised and tracked. <br />Responsible for ensuring transformation projects drive financial impacts. <br />Work to ensure fixed assets and system development projects are being capitalised in accordance with accounting standards and tax requirements. <br />Undertake other duties and special projects as assigned by the Group Financial Controller.<br /><strong>Your Profile</strong><br />To be considered for this role, we are looking for an Accounting professional who is strong on all aspects being forecasting, business case presentation, financial modelling and business partnering.
