You'll work across the full SDLC, delivering high-quality solutions while providing technical leadership. The role combines software engineering, solution design, stakeholder engagement, testing, DevOps practices, and mentoring responsibilities.<ul><li>Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications using modern Microsoft technologies; C#/.Net/. NetCore/Azure</li><li>Lead frontend development initiatives, with a strong focus on Vue.js and CMS integrations.</li><li>Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.</li><li>Drive DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment best practices.</li><li>Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to developers and project teams.</li></ul>Your Profile<ul><li>Around 10+ years' commercial software development experience, with significant time spent in senior development roles.</li><li>Strong hands-on experience across the Microsoft stack, particularly C#, .NET / .NET Core, Azure and SQL Server.</li><li>Genuine full-stack capability, rather than being solely backend focused.</li><li>Commercial front-end development experience, ideally with Vue.js. Experience integrating with Umbraco would be particularly useful.</li><li>Experience designing, developing and supporting business-critical financial applications, ideally across lending, credit, loans, consumer finance or wider financial services.</li><li>A good understanding of modern application architecture, APIs, integrations and cloud-based development.</li><li>Practical experience working within Agile software development environments.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to take a business requirement through to a practical technical solution.</li></ul>Apply Today You'll probably suit this role particularly well if you've spent the last several years working on .NET applications sitting at the heart of a lending or financial services business - loan management platforms, credit systems, customer portals, payment or servicing applications - and you're equally comfortable getting into the backend, database and front-end layers. The Company A well a respected healthcare organisation where cybersecurity plays a critical role in protecting patient data, clinical systems, and essential health services are seeking some short-term support in this space. Operating in a highly regulated and risk‑aware environment, the organisation places strong emphasis on information security, resilience, and compliance to ensure the safe and reliable delivery of care. The Role This role will have a strong focus on identity and access management, password and authentication policies, security administration, and user education. You will be responsible for administering and maintaining security-related configurations across the Microsoft ecosystem, ensuring compliance with organisational security standards, and assisting in the rollout of new security processes and technologies. You'll also help drive security awareness across the business by supporting training and promoting good cyber security practices. Working closely with Infrastructure, Service Desk, and key business stakeholders, you will play a hands-on role in implementing security best practices, improving access controls, and supporting initiatives that enhance the protection of critical systems and sensitive patient information. To be successful, you will bring solid experience working with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and the broader Microsoft technology stack. Exposure to security tools such as Microsoft Defender, Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, vulnerability management platforms, or other cyber security technologies will be highly regarded.
