The position covers finance activities for multiple international offices while also supporting operational matters within the Amsterdam office.What will you do?As Finance Assistant (m/f/x), you will be responsible for a broad range of finance and operational support activities.Manage sales invoicing cycle (accounts receivable)<ul><li>Check projects and project budgets are correctly set up in the system with reference to client and supplier contracts </li><li>Gather relevant billing information and capture in project management system</li><li>Set up invoice milestones in project management system and monitor against delivery</li><li>Chase and check time and expenses against budgets</li><li>Where necessary, input consultant time and expenses in end-client systems</li><li>Respond to project-related finance requests/queries</li><li>Confirm with the Assistant Team any changes to projects</li><li>Prepare sales invoices</li><li>Support invoice approval process and send out invoices, liaising with our Client Partners </li><li>Record invoice payments, to the correct invoices, on a daily basis in finance system and check they appear in the project management system</li><li>Monitor debtor reports and chase unpaid invoices to actively manage debtor days</li><li>Deal with client queries</li></ul>Manage supplier invoices and payments<ul><li>Record supplier invoices in the finance system, coding appropriately</li><li>Manage payments to suppliers and allocate payments to the correct invoices</li><li>Reconcile credit card expenditure and code correctly in the finance system</li><li>Resolve supplier queries</li><li>Reconcile supplier statements with our system</li></ul>Other finance duties<ul><li>Process bank reconciliations for all company bank accounts, creating journals for items outsidethe AP and AR framework </li><li>Operational support activities</li><li>Assist with a range of IT activity.
