The role will involve supporting day-to-day operations while contributing to ongoing initiatives aimed at improving workflows and automation.</p><p> </p><p>They are looking for a motivated and independent team player who is a strong problem solver and able to thrive in a high-performance environment.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Role</span></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Trade support and reconciliation</strong>: handle daily trade processing activities, including booking, monitoring positions, and reconciling cash and transactions across different portfolios</li><li><strong>Issue resolution and coordination</strong>: investigate and resolve trade discrepancies, settlement issues, and operational queries by working closely with internal teams and external counterparties</li><li><strong>Process improvement and automation</strong>: review current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and drive enhancements to reduce manual work and improve accuracy</li><li><strong>Automation and data tools</strong>: support the development of automated reports and workflows using simple scripting or AI tools to improve efficiency</li><li><strong>Data management and reporting</strong>: ensure data used for reporting is accurate, timely, and complete while supporting ongoing reporting needs</li><li><strong>Onboarding and connectivity</strong>: assist in setting up new counterparties and trading relationships, ensuring processes are ready for smooth execution</li><li><strong>Project and system initiatives</strong>: work with internal teams on system upgrades and process improvements, contributing to regional or global initiatives</li><li><strong>Risk monitoring and controls</strong>: keep track of operational risks across the trade lifecycle and flag issues proactively for resolution</li></ul><ul><li><strong>Documentation and process tracking</strong>: maintain clear documentation and support knowledge sharing across the team</li></ul><p><strong> </strong></p><p> </p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Your Profile</span></strong></p><ul><li>About 3-5 years of experience in Trade Operations or Hedge Fund Operations</li><li>Strong knowledge of Python or VBA is an advantage</li><li>Comfortable working with data and technology, with exposure to tools such as Python, SQL, or automation platforms</li><li>Strong ability to understand workflows and identify areas for improvement</li><li>Familiarity with trade lifecycle processes across various asset classes (e.g. equities, ETFs, derivatives, FX)</li><li>Hands-on experience in reconciliation, settlement, or reporting processes</li><li>Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong quantitative, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to look beyond the numbers.</li><li>Excellent organizational, communication, and prioritization skills.</li><li>Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Apply Today </span></strong></p><p>To apply online (Word attachment only), please click the 'Apply' button.
