<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Company</span></strong></p><p>Our client, a Hong Kong-based private equity fund house, is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to join their expanding finance team. This is a newly created position due to a new fund setup, offering exposure to both private equity fund accounting and corporate accounting. The role provides a stable work environment, excellent work-life balance, and the opportunity to grow with the company.</p><p> </p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Role</span></strong></p><ul><li>Prepare financial statements, management accounts, and payment processing.</li><li>Assist in budgeting, variance analysis, and financial monitoring.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation and liaise with auditors and tax consultants.</li><li>Support fund setup and operations from a finance and tax perspective.</li><li>Review fund activities, including capital calls, distributions, and carried interest calculations.</li><li>Monitor and review fund accounts prepared by administrators</li><li>Update valuations for fund portfolios and SPVs.</li><li>Evaluate and improve financial reporting systems, accounting procedures, and internal controls.</li><li>Handle ad-hoc projects related to the company's business operations.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Your Profile</span></strong></p><ul><li>University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.</li><li>CPA qualification or equivalent is required.</li><li>Total of 6+ years of total experience, with 2-3 years in the private equity related fund house experience would be ideal</li><li>Experience in fund accounting, with exposure to corporate accounting being an advantage.</li><li>Strong proficiency in English and Chinese; fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin is preferred</li><li>Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently within a small team.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Apply Today </span></strong></p><p>To apply online (Word attachment only), please click the 'Apply' button.
