You will oversee project budgets, track PnL performance, and ensure that all IT spending aligns with accounting standards and corporate financial goals. You will translate complex IT project milestones into clear financial data for senior stakeholders.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Role</span></strong></p><ol><li>Financial Planning & PnL Management</li></ol><p>Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual IT budget planning process and perform monthly/quarterly forecasting to reflect project shifts.</p><p> </p><p>PnL Tracking: Monitor the IT department's Profit and Loss (PnL), identifying variances between actual spend and forecasted budgets.</p><p> </p><p>Cost Allocation: Manage the "chargeback" process, ensuring IT costs are accurately allocated to the relevant business units or products.</p><p> </p><p>Capital vs. Operational Expenditure: Categorize spend correctly between CAPEX (long-term assets) and OPEX (day-to-day costs) to ensure compliance with accounting policies.</p><p> </p><ol start="2"><li>Accounting & Reporting</li></ol><p>Month-End Closing: Partner with the Central Finance team to manage month-end accruals, prepayments, and depreciation schedules for IT assets.</p><p> </p><p>Financial Dashboards: Develop and maintain real-time financial reports and KPIs (e.g., Burn rate, ROI, Variance analysis) for the Head of IT and Project Leads.</p><p> </p><p>Audit & Compliance: Ensure all IT financial activities adhere to internal controls and external regulatory requirements.</p><p> </p><ol start="3"><li>Project Governance & Support</li></ol><p>Business Case Validation: Review financial projections in new project proposals to ensure realistic ROI and Cost-Benefit analyses.</p><p> </p><p>Vendor & Procurement Liaison: Work with procurement to track vendor contracts, milestones, and payment sched</p><p> </p><p> </p><p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Your Profile</strong></span></p><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong> 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, ideally within a technical or banking environment.</li><li><strong>Technical Skills:</strong></li><ul><li>Advanced proficiency in <strong>Excel</strong> (VBA, Power Pivot, or complex modeling).</li><li>Experience with ERP systems (e.g., <strong>SAP, Oracle, or Workday</strong>).</li><li>Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., <strong>Jira, Clarity, or MS Project</strong>).</li></ul><li><strong>Soft Skills:</strong> Strong ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders (developers, engineers, and IT leads).</li></ul><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Apply Today </span></strong></p><p>To apply online (Word attachment only), please click the 'Apply' button. The programme has high visibility and strong sponsorship from senior leadership, with ambitious timelines and delivery expectations.</p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">The Role</span></strong><br />You will lead the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale HRIS implementation covering Hong Kong and Taiwan, with systems including PeopleSoft and ServiceNow. The project is currently underway and requires an experienced Project Manager to stabilise delivery, advise senior stakeholders, and manage multiple vendors.</p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Key responsibilities include:</span></strong></p><ul><li>Own delivery plan, recovery actions, and governance</li><li>Manage vendors/implementation partners and cross-functional teams</li><li>Drive project governance, risk/issue management, and reporting</li><li>Advise sponsors and senior stakeholders on risks and decisions</li><li>Ensure milestones are delivered on time and within approved budget</li></ul><p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Working arrangement:</span></strong> Onsite in Hong Kong (Olympian City).
