In this context, this role is critical in ensuring the financial robustness, consistency, and competitiveness of complex commercial proposals, while supporting informed decision-making on high-stakes opportunities.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">As a <strong>Senior Controller - Offers &amp; Bids</strong> <strong>(m/f/x) </strong>you will be <strong>responsible</strong> for:</p><ul><li>Ensure financial control over complex bids across the defined scope.</li><li>Analyze the economic structure of offers, including cost assumptions, margins, planning, risks, contingencies, and contractual terms.</li><li>Challenge financial assumptions in close collaboration with bid teams, sales, project, operations, and procurement stakeholders.</li><li>Assess the expected profitability and overall financial sustainability of commercial proposals.</li><li>Contribute to the development of business cases and the preparation of bid reviews.</li><li>Proactively identify financial, contractual, and operational risks that may impact future performance.</li><li>Ensure consistency, reliability, and traceability of financial data used throughout validation processes.</li><li>Ensure compliance with group policies related to bid governance, financial validation, and internal control.</li><li>Contribute to the continuous improvement of methodologies, tools, and standards related to bid controlling.</li><li>Act as the key financial point of contact for stakeholders involved in the preparation of complex offers.</li></ul><p>The required <strong>profile</strong> for the a <strong>Senior Controller - Offers &amp; Bids</strong> <strong>(m/f/x) </strong>position:</p><ul><li>Master's degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent.</li><li>7 to 10 years of experience in controlling or finance.</li><li>Strong experience in financial controlling, bid controlling, project controlling, or contract finance.</li><li>Solid understanding of financial mechanisms related to tenders, business cases, cost at completion, margins, and risk analysis.</li><li>Experience in industrial, technology-driven, defense, or complex project-based environments.</li><li>Ability to operate in high-stakes, demanding, and multi-criteria environments.</li><li>Strong analytical, synthesis, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to challenge effectively.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial/ERP tools; knowledge of SAP, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus.</li><li>Fluent in French and professional proficiency in English; Dutch is an asset.</li></ul><p>What We Expect from You as a <strong>Senior Controller - Offers &amp; Bids</strong> <strong>(m/f/x) :</strong></p><p>You bring strong financial expertise, a constructive and critical mindset, and a high level of anticipation.
