<p><strong>The Company</strong><br />Our client is a growing technology organisation building AI-enabled products and data platforms that power modern decision-making and automation.<br />Their technology team works at the intersection of software engineering, data engineering, and machine learning, building applications that turn complex datasets into actionable insights and intelligent systems.<br />You'll join a collaborative environment working alongside data scientists, engineers, designers, and business stakeholders, contributing to products that integrate AI capabilities, scalable data infrastructure, and modern cloud platforms.</p><p><br /><strong>The Role</strong><br />This Senior Product Engineer role sits within a small but high-impact technology team responsible for building and scaling data-driven products and AI-powered applications.<br />You'll work across the full product lifecycle - from architecture and pipeline design through to APIs, applications, and production deployment.<br />A big part of the role involves designing and building robust data pipelines and backend systems that enable machine learning models, analytics platforms, and AI agents to operate reliably at scale.<br />Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Designing and developing Python-based applications and data services</li><li>Building and maintaining ETL pipelines and data workflows</li><li>Working with SQL databases to model, transform, and deliver large datasets</li><li>Developing APIs and services that allow applications, models, and AI systems to interact with data</li><li>Implementing ML pipelines and MLOps workflows, including systems that support emerging agentic AI architectures</li><li>Working with cloud infrastructure (ideally GCP, but AWS or Azure experience is also relevant)</li><li>Collaborating with stakeholders to translate product and data requirements into scalable technical solutions</li><li>Contributing to system architecture and helping guide technical direction within the engineering team</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Your Profile</strong><br />We're looking for an engineer with strong technical depth in Python and modern data engineering, who is comfortable working across data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and AI-enabled systems.<br />Key experience includes:</p><ul><li>Strong Python development experience</li><li>Excellent SQL and database engineering skills</li><li>Experience building ETL pipelines and data processing workflows</li><li>Hands-on experience with dbt or similar data transformation tooling</li><li>Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure also suitable)</li><li>Familiarity with machine learning workflows or MLOps environments</li><li>Exposure to AI or agent-based systems is highly beneficial</li><li>Experience designing data architectures, APIs, or backend services</li><li>Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li><li>Experience working with AI-driven applications, analytics platforms, or data products will be highly regarded.</li></ul><p><br /><strong>Apply Today</strong><br />If you have really strong Python development skills, advanced databasing, experience building ETL pipelines and CICD exposure, and if you don't fit any of the other stuff mentioned, please still apply.
