The Role Reporting to the Network & Security Project Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering exciting new projects, including a major network security initiative focused on operational technology (OT) environments. You'll work closely with a tight-knit team of five in NZ, collaborating with global teams in multiple locations. Your responsibilities include:<ul><li>BAU Support & Troubleshooting: Keep our network running smoothly by resolving incidents quickly and effectively.</li><li>Project Delivery: Contribute to network upgrades and deployments, delivering projects on time and to a high standard.</li><li>On-Call Support: Be part of an on-call rotation to maintain business continuity for critical systems.</li><li>Design & Architecture: Enhance network architecture for IT and OT environments, including LAN/WAN and wireless solutions.</li><li>Configuration & Deployment: Install, configure, and optimize Cisco switches, Fortinet firewalls, and Wi-Fi infrastructure.</li><li>Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for network security, including OT segmentation and firewall policies.</li><li>Documentation: Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration standards, and operational procedures. This is an onsite role with flexibility in working hours.</li></ul>What You'll Bring<ul><li>3-5 years of networking experience in enterprise environments.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Cisco switching (Catalyst, Nexus).</li><li>Proficiency in Fortinet firewall products (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer).</li><li>Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi design and deployment in enterprise and industrial settings.</li><li>Solid troubleshooting skills for BAU and break/fix scenarios.</li><li>Familiarity with IT/OT integration and industrial protocols (PLCs & HMIs).</li><li>Understanding of networking protocols: TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, VPN, BGP, OSPF.</li><li>Awareness of security standards (NIST, IEC 62443) and network scanning in IT/OT environments.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Cisco CCNP (Enterprise/Security) or equivalent experience.</li><li>Fortinet NSE 4+ or equivalent FortiGate experience.</li><li>CCNA (required).</li><li>Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments</li><li>Knowledge of SD-Wan and cloud networking solutions</li></ul>Experience with Operational Technology (OT) network implementation is highly advantageous.
