<p>For one of the clients of our consultancy firm <strong>Protiviti</strong>, we are seeking <strong>experienced Security IT Auditors</strong> to support a large-scale IT security audit program at a leading technology services provider in the telecommunications sector. As a contractor (ZZP), you will work in small, specialist teams within a broader project environment to assess cyber security controls, evaluate risks, and deliver high-quality audit outcomes.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Execute IT security and cyber risk audits within complex technology and network environments</li><li>Assess effectiveness of security controls across on-premises and cloud infrastructures</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather evidence, analyse risks, and document findings</li><li>Prepare clear, structured audit reports and present results to stakeholders</li><li>Contribute hands-on support in a dynamic, fast-paced audit project</li></ul><p><strong>Professional Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum <strong>6 years of IT audit and security experience</strong>, ideally including Big Four or similar audit firm background</li><li>Demonstrable experience in <strong>cyber security audits</strong>, IT risk management, and compliance</li><li><strong>Telecom sector experience</strong> (audit or security) is highly desirable</li></ul><p><strong>Skills & Competencies</strong></p><ul><li>Strong expertise in IT audit across complex technology and networking environments</li><li>Hands-on, proactive, "getting things done" mindset</li><li>Experience with both <strong>on-premises and cloud</strong> technologies (preferred)</li><li>Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills</li><li>Fluency in <strong>English</strong> required; <strong>Dutch</strong> proficiency preferred</li></ul><p><strong>Certifications (Preferred)</strong></p><ul><li><strong>CISSP</strong>, <strong>CISA</strong>, <strong>RE</strong></li><li>Additional relevant certifications (e.g., <strong>ISO 27001 Lead Auditor</strong>, <strong>CISM</strong>) are a plus.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Arrangement</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Hybrid</strong>: primarily on-site in <strong>Utrecht</strong>, combined with remote working</li></ul><p><strong>Contract Details</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Start date:</strong> Immediate</li><li><strong>Duration:</strong> 4 months initial term (until end of March) + Possible extension</li><li><strong>Hours:</strong> Full-time (40 hours)</li><li><strong>Engagement:</strong> Contractor / ZZP</li></ul><p><strong>Interested?</strong></p><p>Are you the <strong>experienced Security IT Auditors</strong><strong> </strong>we are looking for?
