Key responsibilities of a Business Intelligence Analyst include:Collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to support business performance monitoring and forecastingDesigning and maintaining dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikCollaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into analytical outputsEnsuring data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across business systemsSupporting data governance initiatives and complying with the NZ Privacy Act and ISO 27001 standardsIdentifying trends, patterns, and anomalies to support operational and strategic decisionsDocumenting data definitions, logic, and methodologies to ensure transparency and repeatabilityWorking with IT and data teams to enhance data models and optimise reporting infrastructure
