Often referred to as sysadmin, a Systems Administrator is responsible for overseeing and managing computer systems, including servers and networks. They often install and configure new hardware and software, as well as advise on IT policies and system upgrades. They often supervise IT staff and train both IT and non-IT staff. A highly technical role, Systems Administrators need to have a high level of IT knowledge.
