The State of Summer Vacations

THE STATE OF SUMMER VACATIONS

How professionals are changing their vacation plans in June, July and August due to the pandemic:

• 37% will save their vacation time for later in the year, with hope to travel.
• 28% will take fewer days off compared to last summer; 16% will take more days off.
• 22% would like to take a vacation but are worried about money.
• 20% will take days off for a self-care and mental-health staycation.
• 14% have too much work to do to take time off.

A CUE FROM THE BOSS

• 66% have received no communication about using vacation days.
• 25% say their employer or manager has encouraged them to take time off.
• 9% were discouraged from taking time off.
